愛知県名古屋市生まれ、静岡県富士宮市育ち。日本大学芸術学部演劇学科出身。ジャズヴォーカルの即興表現とニューヨークで体感したライブに影響を受け、作詞・作曲およびライブ活動を開始。現在は東京・横浜を拠点に、ジャズクラブやホテル、レストラン、クルーズ船など年間100回以上のステージに出演し、ジャズ、ボサノヴァ、ポップスを独自の感性で歌い上げている。
バンド「THE FUTURE」「Penguin Village」のヴォーカルを務めるほか、Gary Scott氏との共作アルバム『Chasing The Sun』『Mama Said Swing!!!』をリリース。「誰もがサンタクロースになれる社会」をテーマにした「サンタクロースプロジェクト」を主宰するなど、音楽を通じて人と人をつなぐ活動にも力を注いでいる。
Born in Nagoya and raised in Fujinomiya, Japan, Chisa graduated from the Department of Theatre Arts at Nihon University's College of Art. Inspired by vocal improvisation and the jazz scene she experienced in New York, she began writing and performing original music. Now based in Tokyo and Yokohama, she performs more than 100 shows a year at jazz clubs, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships, singing jazz, bossa nova, and pop with her own distinct sensibility.
She is the vocalist for the bands THE FUTURE and Penguin Village, and has released the albums Chasing The Sun and Mama Said Swing!!! in collaboration with Gary Scott. She also leads the Santa Claus Project, an initiative built around the idea that anyone can be Santa Claus, using music to connect people and spread kindness.
